How To Publish An Article

Allowing members to author (create, save, & edit) articles is a great feature.

However, allowing everyone the ability to publish articles to a live website is not a good practice. The reason is to prevent copy right infractions, inappropriate, inaccurate, negative, or inflammatory articles to be published live under the W7MOT and MARCA name is not desired.

There are 5 ACTIONS associated with an Article; Create, Save, Edit, Publish, and Delete.
Create: the first step. This is done using the HTML editor.
Save: After initially Creating, or Editing, the article is Saved, it is now in the database.
Edit: This is done after the article is initially Saved. To make corrections or changes. A Save after Edit can Overwrite or make Versions.
Publish: Allows the Article to be shared and placed Live on the Site.
Unpublish: Removes the Article from sharing and viewing.
Delete: Removes the Article and Content from the database and website.

Each actions is assigned to a User Security Class; Author, Editor, Publisher, Webmaster. The class is assigned during your Registration Approval by the Webmaster.
Author: All registered MARCA members
Edit: Moderators may Edit. ALL Authors may Edit their own Articles.
Publisher: Officers and Designated Moderators. May publish any Article.
Webmaster: may Edit, Publish, and Delete any Article. The Webmaster may Creat an Article.

For Authors, the length of time to work through the above processes is dependent on the notification and response time of the Webmaster. Typically within one or two days.
