The second in a series of DStar trips to White Tanks was done this past Saturday by AA7OO, KD7KDO, N7ZPY, and K7LKL. W7MOT is fully functional and operating normally with UPS online.

The Gateway was taken from service at 10:45am local time (MST). The primary focus was replacing the internal UPS batteries supporting the W7MOT Gateway server. This was accomplished and the UPS is working. During the power up process and testing the Digital Logger AC control unit failed and either internally reset or fried itself. The unit was removed from service and brought down for investigation into cause. AC power was reconfigured to the original dual source arrangement.

The Gateway service was checked and all server logs indicated everything was normal. The B slice was linked to REF009C. A radio test was made from HT to W7MOT to K7RST. W9FYI also responded. Testing with on site is intermittently difficult due to the strong RF environment of White Tanks getting into the broadband front end of ICOM radios'.

The Gateway was turned over for normal use at 14:30pm local time (MST).
