Who Are We
MARCA, Inc is a 501.c.3 Non-Profit corporation with its roots as the Motorola Amateur Radio Club of Arizona (MARCA). Today MARCA is open to all Licensed Hams, Arizona Hams, and those interested in learning about Amateur Radio. Members are from just about everywhere, local hams residing in Arizona, winter visitors calling Arizona home for the winter, summer visitors (if they exist), and those interested in participating or supporting the club's activities. The majority of our members reside in and around the Phoenix Metro area.

Some of our Activities
Includes maintaining & operating about 2 dozen repeaters located atop Arizona mountain tops and a few building roof tops around the Phoenix area; expanding our experiences into new types of repeaters, such as Dstar & Fusion; our most fun & popular ARRL Field Day event typically held in the mountains near Forest Lakes, Az. (this is a very active activity) ; ARRL FMT contests; and some Antenna experimenting & construction, and maintenance trips to mountain top repeaters. Member interests span diverse topics, individually or groups, and are active in HF activities such as Voice, Digital, CW, DXing, Digital HF modes, MESH, and EOC operations around the valley, including contesting, including technologies spanning from the old to new; like SDR radio building to antique radio restoring. Modes such as WSPR, WSJT FT8 FT4 and operations like Echolink that are computer based, prompting a SBC (single board computer group & Raspberry Pi).
